Come on in guys!
Congratulations on making it to the Merge!
Unfortunately, two of you will not be in the jury...
Markers are finally coming into play. They will impact the next two rounds of the game, so we hope you've been paying attention.
Here is how it works...
At the beginning of the game you were assigned a Marker. This Marker had two specific characteristics, a shape and a color. You have been allowed to trade Markers, and sometimes you were forced to change Markers. By now, you should have a pretty good idea of what Markers are out there and who has them. This is important.
FIRST ROUND - Final 13
You will need to create groups of three. Each group has to consist of people that either have (a) completely different Markers (i.e., different shapes and different colors) or (b) completely identical Markers (i.e., same shape and same color).
Trade rules still apply. You can only trade Markers with people you have never traded with before, except you can trade multiple times this round, as long as it is always with new people.
You will have until tribal council tomorrow evening to figure out who you can create a group with, and then tomorrow night, at Tribal Council, instead of voting for who you want to vote out of the game, you will be submitting your groups at Tribal in your voting history.
A group will be considered successfully created if ALL 3 players submit the same group at the time of voting and the group meets the Markers qualifications. If not all 3 players submitted the same group, or if the three players do not meet the Markers qualifications, then the group is not successfully created.
As you can tell, 13 is not divisible by 3. Meaning, that if 4 groups of 3 are created, one person will be left on the outs. If this were to occur, the player that is on the outs will be eliminated from the game.
If there is more than one person left on the outs, meaning there weren't four groups that were successfully created, then those players on the outs will be up for elimination, with only the people on the outs going to their own private tribal council. They will have 30 minutes to discuss and submit their votes. Player with the most votes will be eliminated.
If no groups are successfully created, then we go straight to rocks and one person will randomly be eliminated from the game.
If only one group is created, then 10 people will be up for elimination, but instead of the ten voting at their own tribal, it will be the group of 3 who will be voting someone from the group of 10 out.
IDOLS
Idols will work differently this round.
As always, idols are played after voting (submitting groups) but before the votes are read (before Benji announces which groups were successfully created).
If 4 groups of 3 are created and one person is left on the outs and an idol is played on that person, this is what happens:
RESET: All groups are dissolved. You will have to create new groups (they cannot be the same groups). However, the person who was saved by the idol will get to lock in their group first with whomever they want. They do not need their consent as long as the group meets the Markers qualifications.
If an idol was played on someone, but that person was not the only person on the outs (meaning more than 1 person was left out of a group), then the idol was incorrectly played and nothing happens.
If you have any questions, please ask in your production chat.
SECOND ROUND - Final 12
Will be explained after tomorrow's Tribal Council.
Good Luck!
*You cannot trade with anyone you have traded with before.
*No screenshots of Markers allowed.
*Production will not confirm nor deny what Markers someone has, nor if a theoretical group of 3 meets the Markers qualifications.
